THREE teenagers are in hospital after taking unprescribed medication.

The three boys aged 14, 15 and 16 years, were taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital on the evening of Sunday, May 17, after consuming tablets in a blister pack believed to have been prescribed for Multiple Sclerosis.

Two of them were later transferred to the RVI. All three remain in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
