Royal Enfield motorcycle stolen from home

A VINTAGE bike has been stolen from a house.

It happened between 6.30pm, on Saturday, September 13, and 1am, on Sunday, September 14.

Thieves gained entry to the house, in Bywell Road, Cleadon, and took the bike from the porch.

The distinctive bike is described as a cherry red Royal Enfield.

It has three gears, cream-coloured handlebars with a metallic blue bell, a black saddle, and a white metal basket on the front.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the address, or who may know the whereabouts of the bike, is asked to come forward.
