A THUG carried out a robbery in Sunderland with two accomplices – aged just six.

The 27-year-old victim was walking along Silksworth Row in the city centre, when a man walked up to him and demanded cash.

The robber was with two young boys, believed to be aged six or seven, when he carried out his attack.

The man handed over £10 before the robber left the scene with the youngsters in tow.

He was left shaken but unhurt.

The robber was in his 30s, and had a thin face.

He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a grey hoodie and a beanie hat at the time.

The incident took place on Thursday at about 5.40pm.

It happened as the victim was walking past the bus stop on Silksworth Row.
