A SUNDERLAND businessman today blasted raiders who stole thousands of pounds worth of equipment from a specialist centre used by hundreds of disabled youngsters.

Groups from across Wearside visit the Woodcraft for Landscapes centre and garden, in County Durham, to learn woodwork and craftwork in an outdoor setting.

Owner Keith O’Brien said: “Years and years of work has been ruined in just minutes.”
