Police seize another off-road motorbike as part of clampdown

A motorcycle has been seized as part of a police clampdown on off-road bikes.

Durham Constabulary’s motorcycle section has been targeting illegal off-road bikes and riders.

One motorbike was stopped in Blackhall after members of the public reported concerns. The rider was disqualified and uninsured. The bike was taken away.

There will be an increased presence of the force’s bike section over the coming months as part of Operation Endurance, which aims to reduce nuisance off-road motorbikes.
