Police renew appeal in bid to snare “heartless” Sunderland mobility scooter thief

POLICE have made a fresh appeal for information after a mobility scooter was stolen.

Thieves broke into a garage at a house in Station Road, Penshaw, between 7pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, and stole a red Cordoba mobility scooter and charger.

Neighbourhood Inspector Lisa Musgrove said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to find the person responsible for this heartless crime and recover the scooter.”
