A FLASHER is being hunted after exposing himself to a woman out walking her dog.

The 41-year-old victim was walking along the old A19 route through Castle Eden when she saw a man exposing himself.

Police believe the same man might have been in the area days later, with the suspect running off after officers approached him.

Detectives believe the man would have been left with scratches and muddy clothing after running off through bushes while police chased him.

The flashing incident happened at about 6pm on Wednesday, May 9, with the sighting by police at 4.30pm on Saturday.

The man is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, aged between 30 and 35 and with a shaved head.

He was wearing a black tracksuit top with a zip and a hood and black tracksuit bottoms. He was also thought to be wearing a light blue peaked cap.
