Police arrest four after man’s ear is bitten off during Sunderland brawl

FOUR men were arrested after a violent brawl in Sunderland.

Police were called to Thorney Close on Saturday morning after a reports of a disturbance.

Officers who went to a house in Thistle Road found a 31-year-old man with part of his ear bitten off.

Two men, aged 30 and 31, were also discovered with minor injuries.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed while police carry out further inquiries.

The three other injured men were also arrested in connection with the incident.

All four have been granted bail.
