Police appeal after £11,000 worth of tools stolen from Washington business park

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after tools worth thousands of pounds were stolen from a business park.

Thieves sneaked into the Turbine Business Park in Washington and made off with Gerberit pipe crimping machine and associated tools worth a combined total of £11,000.

The theft happened between 11am and 4pm, on Tuesday, January 28.

Officers investigating the theft are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may know of the equipment’s whereabouts. Anyone whose been offered such items for sale recently should also come forward.
