Pensioner on drug dealing charge

A PENSIONER has denied possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply.

Bryan Routledge, 74, was charged after a quantity of amphetamines were found at his home in April last year.

At Newcastle Crown Court yesterday Routledge, of Beechwood Crescent, Sunderland, pleaded not guilty to possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.

He was released on bail.
