Motorbike equipment worth £1,000 stolen from van in Washington

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after £1,000 of motorbike equipment was stolen from a van in Washington.

The theft happened between 7pm on Monday May 4 and 7am on Tuesday May 5.

Thieves had broke into a van parked in Monterey, Concord.

They escaped with a range of items including:

• A black and white Fox helmet;

• A black and silver Wulf helmet;

• A black full face style helmet;

• Four pairs of Smith motorbike goggles;

• A number of pairs of motorbike and speedway boots;

• A Sinisalo moto cross outfit with ‘Danny’ on the back in red writing and a number of bags containing motorbike jackets and other clothing.

Anyone with information on the theft or the whereabouts of the equipment is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference number 530 050515.
