MICKEY Mouse thieves drove off with a van fitted with £30,000-worth of projection equipment.
The £12,000 Luton van, pictured, belongs to advertising company IDOOH Media.
It was being used by the firm to advertise Disney’s new Epic Mickey X Box Playstation game.
The van features a big screen installed on the side of the vehicle, with the kit used to promote products.
It was reported as taken from outside IDOOH’s business’s base at Abbey Road Business Park, in Pity Me in Durham.
The vehicle, which has the registration plate NL58 EZF, was stolen between 7.30pm on Thursday, March 28, and 8.30am on Tuesday.
Pc Darrell Brown, of Durham City Beta Unit, said: “As you can see it is a very unusual vehicle.
“There is a good chance someone might know where it is stashed.”
The company has backed the police’s appeal for help and hope its distinctive paintwork and screen will help witnesses remember seeing it.
