Man pulls schoolgirl's hair outside Washington shop - police investigating the assault release CCTV image

A schoolgirl was left shaken after a man pulled her hair in an assault outside a Washington store.

Police investigating the incident have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace.

It was reported that the man approached two schoolgirls and started to engage in conversation before he pulled the hair of one of the girls.

He then made off from the scene of the incident which took place outside the Co-op store on Victoria Place, Concord at about 2.45pm on Thursday, February 27.

The girl was uninjured but shaken by the incident.

Officers have been carrying out various lines of enquiry and have now identified a man they would like to trace.

He was in the area at the time and could have valuable information.
