Man jailed for criminal damage and threats at house in Hetton

A MAN has been jailed for 29 weeks after admitting criminal damage and threatening people in their home.

David Stamp, 24, of Doxford Terrace, Hetton, was given 12 weeks to run concurrently for the offences, which happened in Murton on January 17.

A restraining order relating to the victims was also put in place.

He had previously pleaded not guilty.

Magistrates at Peterlee also activated a suspended sentence of 17 weeks, to run consecutively.
