Man in court over Northumberland pensioner’s killing

A MAN will appear in court today charged with murdering a 77-year-old pensioner.

Graeme Jarman, 47, of Delves Lane, Consett, County Durham, was arrested following a nationwide manhunt after the discovery of Judith Richardson’s body in the hallway of her home in Hexham, Northumberland, on August 19. A post-mortem examination revealed she died from head injuries.

Jarman will appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court.
