A MAN has been charged with killing Jordan Cooper.
Alan Cooper, 31, will appear before Houghton Magistrates tomorrow after Northumbria Police tonight confirmed he had been charged with murder.
Jordan, 14, was found with fatal injuries after police were called to a house in Newriggs, Fatfield, Washington, in the early hours today.
The Biddick School pupil was later pronounced dead at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
A man was arrested and a Northumbria Police statement tonight said: “Alan Copper, 31, of Newriggs, Washington, has been charged with murder and will appear before Houghton-le-Spring magistrates in the morning.
“A post-mortem examination carried out earlier on Jordan Cooper showed that he died as a result of multiple stab wounds.”
