Police say John Farrow, of Conyers Crescent, Horden, was arrested on Saturday, June 13, and appeared before magistrates via video link on June 15 after he was charged over the weekend.
A Peterlee Police message posted on social media today said: “Appearing in court via video link today, he was remanded in custody to reappear at Durham Crown Court on July 13.”
