A DEVASTATED wife has spoke of her heartache six months after her husband was left for dead during a vicious attack.

On Friday, November 18, shopkeeper David Basrai suffered a fractured skull and bleeding to the brain during the senseless attack in Oxclose Convenience Store.

As the police investigation continues, the 49-year-old’s wife has today spoke of her anguish as her husband struggles to come to terms with the attack.

Karen Basrai said: “My husband has been left physically and mentally scarred by this incident.

“While he is better than he was he is still recovering and has to come to terms with injuries that will never heal.”
