PEOPLE are being warned to be on their guard against people selling stolen laptops.

A company on Seaham’s Spectrum Business Park was broken into on Thursday, June 26.

Two Toshiba laptops and 10 Acer laptops were stolen, though police have only now released details of the burglary. Thieves smashed a window to get into the building, at about 2am.

Police at Durham Constabulary have asked anyone who thinks they have been offered one of the laptops for sale to contact them.

Anyone with information about the break in can contact officers by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
