Laptops stolen after early morning raid on Sunderland school

POLICE have arrested a man after a break in at a Sunderland school.

At just before 1am today, the alarm was activated at St Paul’s Church of England Primary School, in Waterworks Road, Ryhope.

A number of laptops were stolen from the building.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is now helping police with their enquiries.

The laptops have since been recovered.
