POLICE investigating a burglary in Easington Lane are continuing to appeal for information.

The incident happened at 7pm on Monday, December 15, in Lyons Avenue.

A man went into the house through a back door where he was disturbed by the occupant, an elderly man.

The offender threatened the occupant with a knife before making off empty handed.

Enquiries are being carried out into the burglary and it’s now thought the offender was wearing camouflage and may have been hanging around the area before the burglary.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who has seen a man wearing camouflage in Easington Lane in the past few days, or has information about, or sees, a man wearing camouflage to get in contact.
