Hunt for two men who urinated against care home then punched worker in head

Police are hunting two men who urinated on a care home before attacking a worker.

Now Durham Constabulary has released CCTV images of the pair and is appealing for help.

Detectives want to speak to them following an incident at Picktree Care Home, in Chester-le-Street, on Monday, January 20, in which a staff member was assaulted.

The suspects are alleged to have driven to the care home on a black moped and urinated against the building.

When they were challenged by a staff member, they are said to have shouted abuse and driven off.

However, they reportedly then returned shortly afterwards and again were abusive before punching the victim in the back of the head.

A Durham Constabulary spokesman urged anyone who could provide information to come forward: “If you have any information to help us identify these suspects, please call 101 and ask to speak to PC Nicholas Minto.
