A RESENTFUL ex-boyfriend used a brick to smash the window of his former partner’s mother’s home.
A drunk Aaron Sugden, 21, arrived at the house in Lambton at 8pm on September 25 demanding to speak to his ex-girlfriend, Sunderland magistrates heard.
Her mother called the police, however, when officers arrived he had gone, prosecutor Lee Poppett said.
Shortly afterward he appeared in the rear yard and as the mother was looking out of her kitchen window, he threw a brick at it, causing it to smash.
Sugden, of Derwent Street, Shiney Row, admitted criminal damage valued at £100.
Robin Ford, defending, argued against imposing a restraining order, saying Sugden had left his ex alone for four-and-a-half months.
He was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.
