Drugs warning after doctor’s bag snatched

POLICE are warning of the dangers of taking unprescribed drugs after a doctor’s bag was snatched from a car.

The bag was stolen from a parked car in North Road, East Boldon, between 5.10pm and 6.10pm on Thursday.

It contained medication including: 10 300mg aspirin tablets; one 5mg Diazepam tablet; a Cyclizine injection; a 1ml Adrenaline injection; a Salbutamol inhaler, and two 600mg powder Benzylpenicillin. It also contained a half-used prescription pad.

Anyone who finds the medication or knows of its whereabouts should not take it but hand it in to police straight away.
