A CANNABIS dealer found with drugs and cash has been spared jail.

Police pulled over Anthony Miller, 25, in Hartlepool, after officers believed he was acting suspiciously.

They found around £2,795 in cash on him and an empty bag which smelled strongly of cannabis.

His mobile phoned showed he was involved in dealing cannabis.

Miller also had a small amount of cocaine when he was stopped on December 29, 2012.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Miller, of Forster Avenue, Murton, was given an 18-month jail sentence, suspended for two years, with a year’s supervision and 240 hours unpaid work.
