When she woke up on June 23, last year, she topped up with two further glasses of wine before she got behind the wheel of her Ford Mondeo.
Prosecutor Paul Anderson said: “There was a dispute between this defendant and another female. Miss Imeson went to have it out with this female, and, in doing so ended up driving her vehicle at four times the legal limit. It is a very high reading, which crosses the custody threshold.”
Imeson, of Hewitt Avenue, Hollycarrside, had 141 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35. She admitted drink-driving.
Brian Chapman, defending, said she had been in a violent relationship, which had driven her to drink.
She was sentenced to three months, suspended for a year, with a 30-month driving ban.
