Do you know him? Appeal to identify man detectives want to speak to in connection with Sunderland burglary

Police have released a picture of a man they wish to identify in connection with a burglary in Sunderland.

The incident happened between midnight and 12.30pm at an address off Peareth Grove, Roker, on December 14, 2020.

An offender gained access to the property when it was unoccupied and stole a set of car keys from inside. He then used the keys to make off in a vehicle which was parked in the garage.

An investigation was launched immediately after the incident with detectives carrying out a range of enquiries.

Now they have identified a man we would like to speak to in connection with the burglary who could have valuable information that can assist officers with their investigation.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the force’s website of by ringing 101 quoting log 397 141220.
