Damaging a BMW and stealing sex gel - a round up of recent Sunderland court cases

Connor Robbins, 21, of St Barnabas Way, Hendon, Sunderland, was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after he admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress on February 24.

Jason Jones, 47, of Houghton Road, Hetton, received a 20-week jail term, which was suspended for 24 months, after he admitted committing assault on August 31 last year.

Neal James Preston, 42, of Wellburn Road, Donwell, Washington, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge after he admitted stealing £224 of alcohol, clothing and sex gel with another person from Sainsbury’s, in Washington, on May 4.

Steven John Moverley, 48, of St Luke’s Road, Sunderland, received a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £800 compensation, a £21 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after he admitted causing £2,416 of criminal damage to a BMW car on December 27 last year.

Kelly Coe, 42, of Alwin, Rickleton, Washington, was banned from driving for 28 days and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drink driving on March 5.

Neil Wainwright, 62, of Otto Terrace, Sunderland, was banned from driving for a year, fined £110 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drink driving on March 17.
