A DRUG user collapsed in court after pleading guilty to dealing in cocaine.

Ian Strong, 40, fell to the floor of the dock in Durham Crown Court after Judge Christopher Prince told him he would be granted bail.

Strong was given first aid and walked out a few minutes later. Chris Morrison, defending, said his client suffered from panic attacks.

The court was told Strong turned to dealing after falling into debt to his supplier.

Strong, of Goodyear Crescent, Gilesgate, Durham City, admitted possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and was bailed to return to court on April 11 for sentencing.
