CLASS A drugs and cash were seized following a police raid on a Sunderland house.
Two police vans from Northumbria Police, including a dog unit, went to a house in Hylton Road, Pennywell, where they discovered the haul.
Officers uncovered a “large quantity” of class A and class B drugs, including cocaine, as well as a large amount of cash.
Police are today continuing to question two men, aged 51 and 29, who were arrested at the scene on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine and remain in custody.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said that officers had been executing a search warrant at the property on behalf of Cleveland Police.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “Our colleagues from Northumbria Police carried out three drugs warrants in the Pennywell area.
“Two males aged 51 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply cocaine. Both males are currently in custody. A large quantity of suspected class A and class B drugs were recovered, as well as a large amount of cash.”
The arrests were made shortly before 8am yesterday.
