CCTV pictures have today been released of a man wanted over a racially-aggravated assault in Sunderland.

It happened at 6.50pm on Wednesday, November 12, in Hylton Road, when a 32-year-old was pushed in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground.

Racial comments were also made towards the victim during the incident.

Police investigating the assault have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to who may be able to help with their enquiries into the incident.
