A car was torched in South Tyneside after being stolen from Sunderland more than a week earlier.
The blue Peugeot 307 was stolen after being parked on Corfu Road, Hylton Castle in Sunderland on Saturday, July 4.
It was found at 1.40am on Sunday, July 12, after being set on fire in West Pastures by Elliscope Farm, in West Boldon.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the initial theft, and for anyone who may have seen the vehicle being left in South Tyneside and set on fire.
