A CANDYFLOSS machine has been stolen from a Sunderland cafe.

It was taken during a break-in at the Queens Cafeteria, in Dykelands Road, Fulwell.

Two food processors were also stolen by burglars, sometime between 8pm on Monday and 2pm on Thursday.

Neighbourhood sergeant Bruce Wild said: “If anyone saw anything we would really urge them to call police.

“Likewise, if anyone is offered the items for sale we could urge them to call us.

“It is a possibility the items have been stolen with the intention of being sold to scrap metal yards, and we are working with yards to identify if anyone tries to sell them.”
