Boy’s arm is broken in attack

A SCHOOLBOY suffered a fractured arm after he was grabbed and thrown by two boys.

The 11-year-old was in Woodhouse Park, in Peterlee, when he was befriended by the pair.

After a short conversation, they pulled him up by his arms and threw him to the ground from the bench he had been sitting on.

He was taken to the town’s community hospital for treatment.

Police have appealed for information. The attack happened between noon and 1.30pm on February 13. Details have just been released.
