Booze thief banned from all Sainsbury's stores - The latest Sunderland court cases

The following cases from the Sunderland area were dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court recently:

Nicholas Thomas Wright, 40, of Rangoon Road, Red House, Sunderland, received a community order, was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting burglary on March 3.

Shaun Mullen, 27, of Besford Grove, Sunderland, was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £565 and ordered to pay a £56 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving and driving without insurance on May 3.

Jamie Fox, 31, of Pallion Park, Sunderland, was fined £110 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £289 costs after admitting breaching the Environmental Protection Act by dropping a lit cigarette in the Market Square on September 17 last year.

Beverly Hinds, 46, of Horseshoe Court, South Hetton, was fined £95 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge after admitting breaching the Environmental Protection Act by dropping a cigarette butt in Crowtree Road on October 14 last year.

Steven Thomas Milligan, 35, of Burnville Road South, Sunderland, was banned from all Sainsbury’s stores for six months as part of a community order, ordered to pay £110 compensation and £85 costs after admitting stealing £210 of alcohol from Sainsbury’s, near Silksworth, on September 20 and 21, going equipped to steal on September 21 and breaching a previous court order.

Steven Arthur, 42, of Tatham Street, Sunderland, was ordered to pay £100 compensation after admitting criminal damage on September 4, attempted theft on the same date and failing to surrender to bail on October 7.

Elliott Wright, 20, of Chiswick Road, Hylton Castle, Sunderland, was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving and driving without insurance on August 24.
