Bikes and tools stolen in garage raid

BIKES and tools have been stolen by criminals who raided a garage in Sunderland.

Thieves struck at the Precinct in Sunderland between 11.30pm on Monday November 10 and 7am, yesterday.

They managed to break into a car which they moved to enable them to get into the garage.

Two black Haro BMXs with silver writing on the frame and red wheels and spokes, a yellow Raleigh adults mountain bike, a turquoise woman’s Raleigh mountain bike, a burgundy mountain bike, a small pink child’s mountain bike and a small lime and green BMX was stolen.

A Makita circular saw, planer and hammer drill were also taken.

Anyone with information to the break-in or has been offered the stolen bikes or tools for sale is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191. Callers are asked to quote reference number 177 11/11/14.
