A MAN has been arrested after another man was left with a wound to his neck following an assault at a house in Sunderland.
The incident happened around 11pm on Saturday, April 18, at an address in Belle Vue Crescent, in the Ashbrooke area.
A 28-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his neck and was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.
It is thought those involved know each other.
