Appeal to find man police want to speak to following shoplifting spree

A search is ongoing to locate a man officers want to speak to in connection with a series of shoplifting offences in Peterlee.

Durham Constabulary has issued a picture of Scott Donkin on social media.

A force spokesman said: “We’d like to speak to him in connection with a series of shoplifting offences in the Peterlee area.

"The 26-year-old has links to the Peterlee and Newton Aycliffe areas.

“If you have any information relating to his whereabouts, please contact Durham Police on 101.”
