Appeal after break in at Sunderland pub

POLICE are appealing for information after a pub was burgled in Sunderland.

Four men broke into the New Derby public house on Roker Baths Road between 2.30am and 3.40am on Sunday August 17 and officers are still investigating.

The men searched the property but were disturbed by a staff member before fleeing the scene empty handed.

The men were wearing hooded tops with their hoods up and hats covering their faces.

Enquiries are ongoing into the burglary and police are appealing for anyone with any information into the burglary to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 258 170814.
