£2,000 Gretsch guitar stolen in County Durham raid

A GUITAR has been stolen during a house burglary.

The Gretsch anniversary edition, worth £2,000, was taken from a flat above Citrone’s restaurant in Front Street, Chester-le-Street, where it was stored with a number of other musical items.

They were left untouched, suggesting the guitar had been specifically targeted.

It was stolen sometime between 9pm on Sunday and 7.45am the following day.
