Crews tackle ‘severe’ house fire in Horden

Fire crews dealt with a large blaze at a home in Horden over night.

Two crews from Peterlee were called to a home on Twelfth Street, Horden, in County Durham at 9.30pm.
Fire fighters spent over two hours trying to put out the blaze using two hose reel jets before they left the property at midnight.
The two storey terraced property was severely damaged by fire with crews calling it ‘quite severe.’
No one was injured in the incident and the exact cause or location of the fire is not known.
