INFORMATION is being sought after a pensioner who was found dead at home.
Police discovered James Jobes at his house in Glebe, Washington, on Sunday. The 68-year-old, who was born in Sedgefield, had no known next of kin.
The alarm was raised by friends after Mr Jobes failed to turn up for lunchtime drinks.
Police are not treating the cause of his death as suspicious.
