Dalton Park Starbucks donated Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar for the event and students suggested the idea of serving breakfast to the staff to raise awareness of the theme ‘Sit down for breakfast, stand up for farmers’.

Teacher Lauren Dowsland said: “It was wonderful to see such a large amount of students committed to raising awareness of Fairtrade products.

“All the students thoroughly enjoyed the event and are hoping to replicate it next year.”
