Baister’s coach, David Binns, said: “Warren is looking excellent, which does not surprise.

“Stanislav is a substitute opponent and I don’t know much about him.

“But all our concentration has been on Warren.

“He’s trained well and he’s been in the gym for a long time.

“He’d been due to fight in Leeds last month, but that match was called off.

“Warren’s not really been out of the gym, so his condition is absolutely terrific, he’s an excellent professional.

“This is a good show for him to box on and we’ll be looking for a performance to match.”

Baister is joined on the Sky Sports-televised bill by Jordan Ellison.

The 20-year-old, from Seaham, tackles “Celtic Warrior” Jono Carroll.

In the top of the bill, Crolla insists he will prove he is the best lightweight in the world .

“Million Dollar” is the underdog against the hard-hitting challenger.
