Closed Sunderland road reopened after crash on sliproad
The A19 junction with the A183 in Sunderland which was closed due to a collision is now open.
The southbound junction of the road, near Pennywell, was closed following an accident this morning.
It is not believed anyone was seriously injured in the accident and police had to wait for the vehicles to be recovered before reopening the road.
Officers thanks drivers for their patience.
