CLIC Sargent offers thanks for support

Last month, colleagues at Morrisons supermarkets in the North East area held a colleague ballot for their new charity partner, and we are delighted to announce that we won.

Thousands of people across the UK, including hundreds in the North East area got involved in our campaign – and without them this simply would not have been possible.

We can’t wait to start fundraising with the wonderful people at Morrisons, and welcome all their employees and shoppers in North East to join CLIC Sargent’s fight for young lives against cancer.

Last year we supported 428 children and young people in the North East and awarded £61,299 in financial grants to help families cope with the extra costs a cancer diagnosis brings.

The £7million this partnership is anticipated to raise will transform so many young lives. Together with Morrisons, we’ll be able to stop cancer destroying more young lives than ever.
