Cleadon Village Drama Club’s production of Ladies Day, by Amanda Whittington, opens on Monday and continues until Saturday, November 12, in the Little Theatre in Boldon Lane. When four fish packers from Hull invade the glamorous world of Royal Ascot you can expect much hilarity and a little poignancy. Played ‘in the round’ this promises to be an enjoyable first of the season. Tickets at £6.50 are available by ringing 0191 447 0493.
