All Saints’ Church Gardening Team is delighted that once again it has gained very high marks in the RHS ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ assessment for the area around the church, being awarded for the fourth year an “Outstanding” award.
The team has made many changes to improve the garden area by removing overgrown shrubs, keeping the lawns in perfect condition and planting to help wildlife conservation. A brochure of this year’s work is on display in the church along with the framed certificate supplied by Northumbria in Bloom.
