ROB Sloan will not be allowed to compete in the Marathon of the North or the Sunderland City 10k.
Organiser Steve Cram confirmed that the Downhill former army mechanic, found guilty of cheating his way to a third-placed finish in October’s Kielder Marathon, would be barred.
Cram said: “He (Mr Sloan) hasn’t entered and wouldn’t be accepted if he did.”
Sloan was banned by UK Athletics for six months, after witnesses said they saw him get on a bus on the race route before climbing off near the finish line.
He continues to protest his innocence.
