CANOEING conman John Darwin could be facing life on his own after it was revealed his wife has no plans to live with him when she completes her prison sentence.

It has been reported the 60-year-old hoped his wife and partner-in-crime Anne would move into the Easington home where he has been living since his release last month.

But it has now been claimed that Mrs Darwin, 59, plans to return to the flat they bought in Panama from the proceeds of a £680,000 insurance scam.

The couple were caught out in 2007 after a picture of them with an estate agent was found on the internet.

Their two children have disowned them.
